Week 4 of college football was filled with upsets. How will Week 5 follow up? Here are three teams that could be in danger.

Last week was a crazy one in the world of college football on and off the field. An AP Top 25 shakeup because of the reemergence of the Big Ten and Pac-12. On the field, two top 10 teams lost to unranked opponents and four other top 25 teams had close calls.

This week, 16 top 25 teams are in action highlighting a week with 32 games featuring FBS teams.

This deep into the season, we’re getting a good idea of the quality of some teams. Others are only playing their second game of the year.

What makes predicting upsets so difficult in this year compared to others is the COVID-19 factor. We don’t know how much teams are practicing, who’s practicing or even who’s not playing, sometimes until an hour before kickoff.

Teams on upset alert last week were 2-1, but that one was the big one: Mississippi State defeating defending National Champion LSU in Baton Rouge. Overall, teams on upset alert are 3-4-1 on the year. Will the trend up in record continue?

As always, a disclaimer: A game considered an “upset alert” is just that, an alert.
