3. No. 9 Texas (vs. TCU)

This game comes down to which Texas team do we see: the one that played the first 56 minutes against Texas Tech, or the one that played the final four minutes and overtime against the Red Raiders?

This could be another shootout. Texas is averaging 61 points per game through two games and TCU scored 34 in a loss to Iowa State last week.

For TCU to pull off the upset, they need to tighten up the defense and not allow big plays. That was a problem last week when they gave up seven plays over 20 yards. Under Gary Patterson, that’s a reasonable request.

The Horned Frogs have defeated Texas six times in eight attempts since joining the Big 12. Don’t count out the Frogs.
