3. Texas scores 50 burger for third straight week

Texas’ offense has been firing on all cylinders through two games. The Longhorns are averaging over 60 points per game with a quarterback who is red hot. Their running game as a team is averaging over 200 yards per game through two games this season.

There doesn’t seem to be anybody who could slow down this offense so far. TCU had trouble with Iowa State on big plays as they allowed four plays of over 40 yards. The Cyclones were able to get 424 total yards of offense against the Horned Frogs.

Texas should have no trouble using their weapons on offense to run and pass all over TCU’s flat defense. Big plays are going to make or break how TCU responds to Texas’ offense.

Watch out for Texas running backs Keaontay Ingram and Roschon Johnson to have big games after Iowa State was able to run for 213 yards last week versus TCU. Texas will at least be able to open up their running game against the Horned Frogs.

It would be a surprise if Texas wasn’t able to get at least 400 yards of total offense against TCU. Points will be put up in big ways which should lead to an easy win. Fifty points doesn’t sound that crazy after the performances of the Longhorns this season.
