Texas A&M fought valiantly early, but it wasn’t enough as Alabama football ran away with this one, 52-24. What did we learn?

The Crimson Tide found their way onto the scoreboard early and often and even though the Aggies tied the game early on at 14, it wasn’t enough for the Aggies to be able to really stay in the game and show themselves as a competitor in the conference this season.

The Aggies showed that they are, as of right now, a fraud in the SEC race and Alabama, well, they are very much not one.

What did we learn from this one about both of these teams?

3. Alabama is back, ladies and gentlemen

A season ago, it was LSU that owned the SEC. They blew past everyone they played and it wasn’t a question when they won the national championship as to who was the best team in the SEC and in the nation was. However, this season. that may just be Alabama. They have shown that they are competent on both sides of the ball and are able to put up points on anyone and everyone so far.

Of course, they have played Missouri and a Texas A&M team that struggled with Vanderbilt in the first week of SEC play, so take that as you will.

That being said though, Alabama played a complete game each of the last two weeks and is looking like one of the better teams in the SEC and easily a top-three team in the nation. Don’t be surprised if they move up depending on what Clemson does against Virginia.
