2. Kansas State has found its running back

After not having a 1,000-yard rusher last year, the Wildcats now have its next great back.

Freshman Deuce Vaughn rushed 16 times for 133 yards and a touchdown after rushing for 92 yards in his first two appearances behind. Vaughn also scored the clinching touchdown on a 70 yard reception on third down with just 2:07 left in the game, breaking a tackle and blowing passed the Red Raider defense.

Vaughn was solid and reliable all game stepping up big time in the absence of Skylar Thompson, who left with an injury in the second quarter. If Thompson is out for any length of time, Kansas State will need Vaughn to continue running at a high level.
