1. Jarrett Guarantano may actually be good

For years, fans have been wondering “is Jarrett Guarantano actually a decent quarterback?” And on Saturday, it seemed more than likely that he had just been waiting for a decent offensive line to become the quarterback everyone expected from day one.

Tennessee’s offensive line is making a world of difference this season and there aren’t many lines in the country that are as highly-touted and effective as this one. Guarantano is benefitting.

The senior quarterback is off to a good start to his final season in Knoxville with a 2-0 record and about 450 total yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. It’s amazing what he can do when he’s given time and even though he didn’t put up monster numbers against Missouri, he looked as comfortable and solid as he has in a Tennessee uniform.

If Guarantano continues to build confidence and play to the level he has been through two games, Tennessee is going to be an absolute force to be reckoned with in the SEC.

But that’s a big ‘if’.
