Loser: Mississippi State (Unranked)

It has only been two weeks, but Mississippi State fans are already getting the full Mike Leach experience in Starkville. After pulling off a big win against LSU in Week 1, Mississippi State came back home to lose to Arkansas, which had a 20-game SEC losing streak. Leach is a brilliant offensive mind, but has been known to be inconsistent throughout his career. Whether it is a big win or a head scratching loss, Leach is never boring.

The Bulldogs turned it over too many times and the passing attack was not effective, which was surprising considering how good they looked against LSU. Up next for Mississippi State is Kentucky on Saturday.

Loser: UCF (Unranked)

UCF is a team that fans love to hate, but you can’t deny their recent run of success. However, they have not been able to back up that talk the last couple of years and after quarterback Dillon Gabriel declared them the best team in Florida, UCF proceeded to blow a big lead and lose to Tulsa. UCF committed too many penalties and couldn’t get going on offense in the second half. Tulsa moved the ball at will and exposed the Knights defense.

They are also a loser because the Group of Five took a big hit in terms of playoff hopes with the Golden Knights losing an dropping out of the Week 6 poll
