The Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll began this week, with the Louisville Sports Commission naming three college football players to it.

The Louisville Sports Commission, the group that annually awards the Paul Hornung Award (given to the countries most versatile football player) has named three college players to its first weekly installment of the Paul Hornung Honor Roll.

The honored athletes were Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, UCF running back Otis Anderson Jr. and Coastal Carolina running back CJ Marable.

All three players are very versatile and not only contribute to their team’s offenses in multiple ways — but to their special team’s units, too. The award is given in honor of Paul Hornung, the Notre Dame quarterback who won the Heisman Trophy in 1956 and was the first overall pick in the 1957 NFL Draft. Hornung wasn’t just able to throw the football while at Notre Dame, but he was a very effective runner and special teams player.

Let’s break down the week these three players had and talk a little bit about what they do so well.
