2. Trill Williams will secure his second interception of the season

Trill Williams, the dynamic junior defensive back, has a knack for the end zone, scoring a touchdown in all three seasons.

On Saturday, Williams won’t score, but he will find the ball in his hands again, picking off Chase Brice who has been careless this season, throwing seven interceptions in his four games.

Williams returned an interception for a 90-yard touchdown against Georgia Tech.

While his opportunities have not always netted interceptions, Williams has found himself around the ball this season, accumulating three pass deflections thus far. With 16 tackles in three games, Williams is also on pace to eclipse his previous high of 38 tackles, which came last season.

Brice’s propensity for turnovers will benefit Williams and the entire Syracuse defense.
