Alabama football remains perfect with a great offensive performance and poor defensive outing that should have the Tide worried.

There were many teams in Week 6 that had tough tests. A handful of them already failed the test with LSU, Oklahoma and Texas dropping two games and out of the top 25 completely. The No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide and head coach Nick Saban had an interesting matchup this past Saturday as they faced former assistant Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels.

Last Saturday, the Crimson Tide had their toughest test of the season as they traveled to Oxford to take on the high-powered offense of the Rebels. They were in a shootout with the Rebels as they figured they would be. It was a near-perfect match for the Tide’s offense as they continued to not miss a beat with their ability to get on the scoreboard.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Crimson Tide should be worried as they have one of their worst games under Saban — ever. There was almost no reliability with the Tide’s defense, which would have been a complete 180 in tough games like these.

The Tide were able to come out of Oxford with a 63-48 win over the feisty Rebels team. There were some great things that the Crimson Tide should be pleased by but there were some awful things that should worry Alabama in the long run as it’s trying to get back to the College Football Playoff after missing out on last year.

Here are the three overreactions from the Tide’s win over the Rebels.
