The Commodores are down one spot after falling to South Carolina, 41-7. The Commodores, despite hanging with Texas A&M in the first week of SEC action, are exactly who we thought they were, just not ready to play this season. They sit at 0-3 and are likely to finish 0-10. I don’t know about y’all, but I just don’t see the ‘Dores doing much of anything this season.

South Carolina beat Vanderbilt soundly, but that is about all the Gamecocks have done this year. They hung with Tennessee to start the year, but I’m still not sold Volunteers so I’m not sure how much that means. They take on an Auburn team next week that struggled with Feleipe Franks and the Razorbacks, so we will see how well they do with that to learn more about this team.

LSU falls seven spots after falling to a bottom-dweller like Missouri. The defense is atrocious and despite the offense doing everything they could, they still fell to Missouri 45-41. To get stuck in a shootout with the likes of the Missouri Tigers doesn’t bode well for a team trying to defend a national title.

The Missouri Tigers are up three spots after topping the LSU Tigers in a shootout, 45-41. Now freshman of the week Connor Bazelak did tremendously and the Missouri defense held when it mattered most: on the goal-line as time ticked away. It was a huge win for a new head coach in Eli Drinkwitz.
