Among some of the biggest losers of Week 6 were a College Football Playoff contender, an SEC pretender and a Group of Five program that continues to lose.

Week 6 of the 2020 season was one of the most chaotic weekends in recent history. Many teams fell in their destination for the College Football Playoff. Several teams had a difficult week, only to come out on top.

The No. 4 Florida Gators had the availability to contend heavily for the SEC East and a potential spot for the playoff. This past Saturday, the Gators had a huge opportunity to beat the No. 21 Texas A&M Aggies with a decisive victory. While their offense was highly efficient, their defense failed to live up to expectations as they lost 41-38.

The No. 13 Auburn Tigers almost had one of the most significant losses to the week against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Instead, the game ended in likely one of the most controversial finishes in the entire 2020 season. Despite the win, the Tigers fell two spots in the AP poll.

With the Big Ten and Pac-12 nearing competitive play, there is no room for error in the race for the College Football Playoff. There were plenty of teams that took bad losses but there were three in general that took the biggest hit. For some teams, not only did they lose but they lost their key vision where changes are to be made.

These teams will need to take the remaining week to refocus their efforts to take advantage of the rest of the season. Here are the three worst losses from Week 6 of the season.
