11. Syracuse Orange (1-3, 1-3)

Teams that find consistent success are built from the inside out. Meaning, they are solid along the offensive and defensive lines. Syracuse is the opposite; they cannot get pressure on the quarterback or stop anyone from getting to their quarterback. It is hard to gauge how good Tommy DeVito is or could become due to the line in front of him.

It is no wonder their lone win came against Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are as inconsistent upfront at Syracuse. The Orange’s pass rush showed up as well. Syracuse found a running game as well with Sean Tucker running for over 100 yards. Then they played Duke and it was the same thing different day. DeVito was running for his life and the Orange could not run the football.

ON the other side, Chase Brice had all day to throw and had his best day in a Duke uniform. The schedule does not get any easier for Syracuse. The Liberty Flames visit this weekend; the Flames played the Orange to the fourth quarter last season losing by a touchdown. After Liberty, it is mighty Clemson. Because Syracuse has been so inconsistent this season, there are no winnable games the rest of the way.
