1. Georgia’s offensive line will control the line of scrimmage

Georgia’s front was not quite as impressive against Tennessee, especially after manhandling the Auburn defense the week before. While the Bulldogs ran for about the same number of yards in both games, they did not seem to force their will on the Volunteers like they did against Auburn.

Tennessee was able to make several tackles for loss and most notably, stood the Bulldogs up on the goal line at the end of the first half.

If Georgia can get linemen to the second level to make blocks, Georgia can control the game by running straight down the middle.

That said, Ole Miss was able to have a pair of running backs each rush for over 100 yards against Alabama in their spread formation. If Georgia employs a similar strategy, the key will be to break contain around the edge to make big plays like Ole Miss.
