2. The Irish have two 100-yard rushers again

Speaking of that run game, Notre Dame had an absolute field day against Florida State last week. The Seminoles weren’t able to do much of anything defensively as the Irish didn’t need the aerial attack much even though Ian Book passed for 201 yards and two touchdowns on 16-of-25 completions.

Notre Dame finished the day with 353 yards and four touchdowns on 42 carries. The yards per carry average on that was 8.2 and that’s eye-popping for a complete game.

Kyren Williams has broken out in his sophomore season and he’s coming off a 185-yard performance with two touchdowns and he’ll rush for 100 yet again in this one.

But Williams won’t be Notre Dame’s only 100-yard rusher against the Cardinals who have actually struggled against the run, allowing over 150 yards per game on the ground. Chris Tyree broke out for 103 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries against the Seminoles so he’s a good candidate and C’Bo Flemister has notched a 100-yard performance this season against South Florda.

Williams and another back — heck, maybe even Book — will run for over 100 yards each.
