1. Notre Dame sneaks by just barely

Notre Dame hasn’t exactly had a close game this season. Florida State gave the Irish a run for their money for a half but faded in the second half, losing by 17.

The Irish beat Duke by two touchdown to open the season and then South Florida 52-0. They haven’t exactly been tested as much as they need to be and that’s leading into an interesting matchup against Louisville in the fourth game of the year.

Louisville isn’t exactly a pushover. The Cardinals may have a 1-3 overall record, but that’s deceiving for a couple of reasons. The offense can be elite, there are a nice mix of veterans on the roster and Scott Satterfield is a good coach.

Notre Dame is going to have its toughest test of the season on Saturday afternoon against the Cardinals and this game will come down to the wire.

The Irish are 17-point favorites, but this game will be decided by a touchdown or less. I’ll say 37-30 Notre Dame.
