2. Feleipe Franks out-duels Matt Corral

Matt Corral has been an absolute revelation for Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss. He loves developing quarterbacks and although many believed that John Rhys Plumlee would be the best option to start for the Rebels going into the season after a breakout 2019 campaign, Corral has proven to be the QB1 that this program needs.

Through three games, Corral has 1,080 yards and nine touchdowns with only one pick and he’s completing 76 percent of his passes. Oh, and he already has a career-high 141 rushing yards. Not too shabby for a guy who was considered the second-best running quarterback on the team.

But on Saturday, he’s going to face some stuff competition in a quarterback duel. He’s going to get out-matched by the veteran Feleipe Franks.

Yes, Corral is the more naturally talented player and he’s one of the brightest young stars in the league but Franks just has that steady demeanor about him. He’s going to be the coolest cucumber on the field Saturday in a tight battle in a heated environment.

Franks is going to have a better overall game than Corral.
