2. Gus Malzahn and the Tigers are feeling the pressure

If there’s one side feeling all sorts of pressure in this one, it would have to be Auburn. The Tigers were expected to contend for an SEC title and have already dropped two games through four tries and they probably should have dropped a third at home to Arkansas but they won controversially.

Gus Malzahn is feeling that pressure to turn things around because if the Tigers finish 6-4 or 7-3 this season, he may find himself out of a job in the offseason.

But this is a game that he should win and that’s usually when coaches on the hot seat feel the most pressure. However, it’s a road game against one of the SEC’s most prolific offensive attacks and his guys aren’t equipped for a shootout.

Auburn is going to feel that pressure and being dubbed a fraud early in the season can’t feel good. This team just doesn’t have any momentum right now while Ole Miss does.
