1. Matt Corral will out-duel Bo Nix

This one is kind of a no-brainer, but it’ll be the icing on the cake for this game and it kind of goes along the same lines of Auburn not being as equipped for a shootout as Ole Miss.

Bo Nix is a solid talent, but he’s going to take a back seat to Matt Corral in this one.

Corral is coming off a disastrous start against Arkansas in which he threw six interceptions and was just completely off. But there’s always a mulligan for quarterbacks who have been impressing like him. He has 1,280 yards and 11 touchdowns this season and had just one interception before throwing six against the Razorbacks last weekend.

Nix, on the other hand, has had the most pedestrian of starts to his sophomore season, passing for 869 yards and five touchdowns with four picks. He looks like a shell of his freshman self.

If this game comes down to the quarterback battle, there’s no doubt in my mind that Ole Miss and Corral will have the upper hand.
