1. Notre Dame’s run game will steal the show

When you have one of the best rushing attacks in all of college football, you utilize it.

Saturday afternoon’s contest is going to pit strength against strength as Notre Dame’s elite run game will face off against Pittsburgh’s stingy run defense. The Panthers allow just over 60 yards per game on the ground while Notre Dame averages about 261 rushing yards.

Something’s got to give here.

I’m going with Notre Dame’s run game to come out on top in this one as Kyren Williams, C’Bo Flemister, Chris Tyree and Ian Book will put up some numbers. Williams has been one of the biggest surprises in the country this year, posting 486 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 6.7 yards per carry as a sophomore.

Flemister and Tyree are quality backup options and Book is one of the better running quarterbacks in the country.

Pitt won’t be able to stop Notre Dame’s run game.
