2. Matt Corral is in a slump

Saying Matt Corral is in a slump might be an understatement. The former blue-chip recruit and sophomore quarterback threw six interceptions a week ago with just two touchdowns against Arkansas and he followed that up with another multi-interception game against Auburn, tossing two with just one score through the air.

Corral did lead the Rebels in rushing with 88 yards and two touchdowns but he was just 16-of-27 for 154 yards and a touchdown with those two picks.

Granted, this was a sloppy game because of the rain and there were some bad drops and it just wasn’t an ideal pass-heavy afternoon for either side, but he needs to be better with his decision-making because he has eight interceptions over the past two games after having just one over the first three games of the year.

Although he’ll be fine and he’ll get back on track, he needs to snap out of it before confidence is lost because of the picks and overall poor two-game stretch.
