Winner: Indiana (Up to No. 17)

Indiana was a trendy upset pick this week and man did they deliver.

Indiana got their biggest win in some time over Penn State and that earned them a spot in the Week 9 AP Top 25. It was an ugly and statistically unlikely win, but the Hoosiers will take it.

The offense has some things to clean up, as they were largely inconsistent throughout and the offensive line was not very good for most of the afternoon. The Hoosiers were big winners this week and will look to continue to climb next week against Rutgers.

Winner: Michigan (Up to No. 13)

Proceed with caution, but Michigan might be good.

The Wolverines showed a competence on offense that has not been seen thus far in the Jim Harbaugh era (though that bar was low). Quarterback Joe Milton looked in command all night long and Michigan’s defense was aggressive as usual and the pass rush got after what was thought to be a good Minnesota offense.

The Wolverines will need to show week to week consistency for most to be confident in them, but so far so good for Harbaugh and Michigan.
