In a week of only four games, a lot of movement has happened among our SEC football power rankings as the middle gets muddier. Where does your team end up?

Did you miss the action this week? There wasn’t much, but some stuff surely did go down, starting in the morning slate with Auburn and Ole Miss. This game came with another questionable call that may have been game-changing, something that seems to be a trend for Auburn. Whether that means anything or not, Auburn found a way to be victorious 35-28 over the Ole Miss Rebels.

The afternoon slate started with Alabama and Tennessee. It was a game that went exactly how you expected, with the Tide rolling over Tennessee 48-17. However, the story comes with a sad ending. Jaylen Waddle broke an ankle after being rolled up on by a Volunteer football player. Waddle, a star Tide receiver, may have now played his last game with Alabama.

In the second game of the afternoon, Missouri took down Kentucky 20-10. The Tigers dominated the football game from the first snap and were able to take down a normally opportunistic Kentucky defense. Led by Larry Rountree and Connor Bazelak, the Missouri offense did just enough to take advantage of an anemic Kentucky offense.

The evening game was a matchup between LSU and South Carolina, one team on the rise and the other struggling. However, LSU came out victorious in this one with a true freshman quarterback TJ Finley. The Tigers won this one 52-24 over the Gamecocks and we see a shakeup in the middle of the conference.

Now that everyone is caught up, let’s talk about power rankings.
