College Football 2020: Top 3 under-the-radar games in Week 9
There are plenty of under-the-radar games in any given week of college football. This one is no different, with exciting matchups everywhere.
One college football’s greatest features is that there’s too many games to watch on a Saturday afternoon. So, you need to pick and choose what games matter to you.
For most people, this means watching the game of the week, finding ranked matchups, and rooting for their school. They tend not to think about those under-the-radar matchups.
For plenty of others, they’re looking for the best possible games, regardless of the teams playing. These are those under-the-radar games in Week 9.
3. Virginia Tech vs. Louisville
Virginia Tech heads to Louisville in a game that sees a middle of the pack ACC team travels to a bottom of the pack ACC team. At least, that’s what this game amounts to on paper.
In reality, it’s set to be a much more exciting matchup.
Louisville was a popular sleeper pick to start this season, but that hasn’t manifested. On their way to 1-4 they’ve fallen in several close games, with one score losses to Pitt and Notre Dame. Virginia Tech, meanwhile has had some major roster issues, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The Hokies have been an offensive juggernaut, and would still be deep in the ACC race if it wasn’t for an upset loss to Wake Forest.
This game, while not meaning much to ACC standings, should be an offensive explosion.
