2. Georgia State won’t penetrate Coastal Carolina’s offensive line

The two teams have posted comparable offensive stats with Georgia State putting up 466.5 total yards this season and Coastal Carolina has recorded 423.8 total yards. The Panthers put up more rushing yards with 237.3, but the Chanticleers have put more passing yards on the books with 236.4 total passing yards.

Grayson McCall has put 930 yards, 11 touchdowns, and one interception on the books so far this season, but was injured in last week’s game against Georgia Southern. He is questionable for this week, but Coach Chadwell has expressed his confidence in the backup quarterback, Fred Payton and he is capable of leading the offensive line if he needs to.

Payton posted 252 passing yards last week with three touchdowns and three interceptions. He should have more confidence in his role this week, as cold feet may have been a contributing factor to the interceptions thrown last week. C.J. Marable leads the Chanticleers with 83 carries for 282 yards and four touchdowns while Jaivon Heiligh has put 25 receptions for 434 yards and four touchdowns.

Cornelious Brown IV has recorded 78 completions for 917 yards, nine touchdowns, and four interceptions for the Panthers so far this season. Destin Coates has been Brown’s go-to man for rushing passes as Coates has put 82 carries on the books for 378 yards and three touchdowns. Sam Pinckney has 22 receptions for 354 yards and five touchdowns on the season.
