3. Florida will blow Missouri out

The No. 10 Florida Gators (2-1) were a team with potential with their offense scoring at an impressive rate. In the first two games, the connection between Kyle Trask and Kyle Pitts was one of the productive in the nation. There was plenty of College Football Playoff talk for the Gators until they lost to No. 21 Texas A&M, 41-38.

Florida has not played a game since then because of a COVID-19 outbreak. The Gators were originally supposed to play LSU and Missouri on Oct. 17 and Oct. 24, respectively. This Saturday, the Gators will play their first game in three weeks as they host Missouri. They are currently 12.5-point favorites over the Tigers.

With so many weeks off to prepare, the Gators are looking to get back into the College Football Playoff discussion. They’re looking to continue their dominance on the offensive side of the ball as they are ranked 10th in the nation (second in the SEC) in points per game (42.3). Trask has thrown for 996 yards, 14 touchdowns and only one interception with a completion rate over 70 percent. Pitts has caught 17 passes for 274 yards and seven scores.

Defensively, the Gators will need to become more effective as they have allowed more than 40 points twice in the three games played. Florida’s defense has allowed an average of 33.3 points per game (67th in the nation).

They will show their improvement over the last three weeks this Saturday against the Tigers.
