2. Notre Dame lets Ian Book loose again

Tommy Rees and Brian Kelly need to do something that works and that means letting Ian Book loose and allowing him to use his arm instead of strictly his legs.

There’s no doubt about it, the Irish have one of the best rushing attacks in the nation but Book can be a top-tier passer if he’s given the opportunity to showcase his arm. He has only thrown 30 passes twice this season with the most recent instance coming against Pitt and he finished with his first 300-plus yard passing game and the Irish scored 45 against a tough defense.

Rees had to take notice of that and with a huge game against Clemson coming up next weekend, getting Book some momentum will be crucial this week against Georgia Tech.

We’re going to see Book air it out once again with those tight ends and he might even have a receiver step up to look like that No. 1 guy.

Book will finish with over 300 yards again and gain that much-needed confidence in his arm before Clemson next week.
