Arkansas football will travel to College Station for an annual rivalry game against Texas A&M and here’s why the Razorbacks will pull off the upset.

Arkansas is one of the most underrated teams in college football this season and if you looked only at the Razorbacks’ record, you’d be led to believe they are nothing more than an average football team.

That’s not the case.

In the opener, the Razorbacks led No. 4 Georgia for a half before falling apart in the second half without the firepower to keep up. They then beat No. 16 Mississippi State and lost to No. 13 Auburn on the road in controversial fashion (they should have won). And then they beat Ole Miss. This team should be 3-1 heading into this one.

Sam Pittman has turned everything around and a matchup with rival Texas A&M in College Station could give these young Razorbacks even more confidence.

Here’s why Arkansas will pull off the upset on Saturday night.

3. Kellen Mond’s inconsistency

Texas A&M has gotten some surprise production from Isaiah Spiller in the backfield this season, but injuries have piled up in the receiving corps and that has hit Kellen Mond hard.

The senior quarterback already had problems with consistency heading into this season and that will be even more evident against an improving Arkansas defense. He’s coming off his second sub-200-yard performance of the season and he’ll have another one against the Razorbacks with a completion rate under 60 percent.

Mond is going to turn the ball over a couple of times and Arkansas is going to capitalize and Texas A&M might be playing catch-up because of it. His inconsistency is going to cost the Aggies.
