1. BYU wins by five touchdowns

If you’re looking for an official line for this one, it’s somewhere around 30 points in favor of BYU, as it should be. Western Kentucky has been handled by everyone with a pulse, dating back to Louisville in the opener to sit at 2-4 on the year while 6-0 BYU has been manhandling everyone.

This is a recipe for a blowout.

Western Kentucky has one of the worst offenses in the nation, averaging a paltry 277 yards and 17.7 points per game while BYU has one of the stingiest offenses, allowing 284 yards and 14 points per contest. The defense is also one of the best against the run, holding opponents to under 100 yards per outing on the ground.

The Hilltoppers’ defense allows about 370 yards and 28 points per game while BYU averages about 45 points and 547 yards. This is going to get ugly.

BYU just has too much firepower, too much defense and better coaching. This one is going to be out of reach almost from the opening kickoff on. The Cougars will win this one by a score of 52-17, or something similar to that.
