3. Ohio State is once again dominating on both sides of the ball

Last year, the word that was used to describe the Buckeyes was complete. On both sides of the ball they were suffocating, and did not struggle up until the playoff game against Clemson.

But, some questioned if this year’s defense would be as great as last year, after the losses of Chase Young, Jeff Okudah and Damon Arnette.

Tonight, Ohio State showed they have the talent and depth that could lead to them playing multiple games in January. Justin Fields was outstanding once again, showing week in and week out he is a top tier prospect for the 2021 NFL Draft.

The running game showed up and gashed Penn State for 208 yards on 45 attempts. Master Teague and transfer Trey Sermon are going to be a tough combo to contain.

The defense pitched a near perfect game in the first half, but did give up 3 touchdowns later in the game. The front-seven deserves major props for causing pressure and dressing up as a brick wall for Halloween. The Nittany Lions rushed for just 44 yards on 27 carries for a pedestrian 1.6 yards per carry.

Ohio State proved tonight why they are the best that the Big Ten has to offer and will be a playoff contender until the very end.
