2. Feleipe Franks is a top-five SEC quarterback

OK, so hear me out on this one, folks. You have to look at the list of quarterbacks in the SEC this season to realize that Feleipe Franks is ahead of a good chunk of passers in a number of categories and he was a steady force yet again versus Texas A&M.

What makes Franks a top-five quarterback in the SEC?

Well, he’s consistent — probably the most consistent in the conference — and he’s No. 7 in passing yards through five games, No. 8 in yards per attempt which could improve, No. 5 in completions, No. 7 in completion percentage with a career-best 66, No. 5 in touchdowns and No. 5 in rating.

Add all that together and that has to make him a top five quarterback based off consistency alone and how much he’s in the top five in prominent categories.

On Saturday, he was consistent yet again, completing 23-of-31 passes for 239 yard and three touchdowns as it’s pretty clear he wasn’t the problem. His defense couldn’t stop a runny nose.

Prove me wrong, but Franks is one of the five best quarterbacks in the conference behind guys like Max Jones and Kyle Trask and maybe Matt Corral and Kellen Mond.
