BYU Football: 3 bold predictions for Cougars in November 2020
BYU football is one of the hottest teams in America heading into November, but will the Cougars be able to maintain that momentum?
Heading into the month of November, BYU is one of those few Group of Five teams with a legitimate shot at making the College Football Playoff.
The Cougars look like one of the best teams outside of the Group of Five, dismantling just about every team in their path. They will, however, face their biggest test this weekend with a matchup against Boise State. This will truly decide the Cougars’ fate in the playoff and New Year’s Six races.
Zach Wilson is playing better than anyone expected this season and BYU looks unstoppable right now.
Let’s get bold ahead of the month of November.
3. BYU will beat Boise State by two touchdowns
A matchup with Boise State opens the month of November and this has been circled on every BYU fan’s calendar all season. If the Cougars can beat the Broncos convincingly on the road, they’ll be able to make a case for that playoff.
Boise State is dealing with Hank Bachmeier potentially being out and USC transfer Jack Sears getting a start. If that happens, this one could get ugly.
I believe Sears is talented, but this team plays much better with Bachmeier under center, especially against teams like BYU. This could be a shootout and in that case, I’m going with BYU by two touchdowns.
