Week 10 is headlined by the ACC having a possible title game preview and two SEC rivals face off in a College Football Playoff elimination game.

Week 10 might be the most anticipated weekend of the college football season up to this point and it is highlighted by two huge matchups and the return of the Pac-12.

Clemson and Notre Dame will face off in a rematch of the 2018 Cotton Bowl, that was also a playoff semifinal game. Clemson dominated that game and it added on to the misery for Notre Dame fans as it was another disappointment in a big game. This game is obviously different due to Trevor Lawrence not being able to play and it represents a huge opportunity for the Fighting Irish to introduce themselves as contenders to the playoff.

Down south, Georgia and Florida will battle it out in Jacksonville for the lead in the SEC and to keep their playoff hopes alive. These two teams already have one loss and it would be near impossible for the loser to make the playoff. It will be a showdown between one of the best offenses in the country in Florida and one of the best defenses in the country in Georgia.

The Pac-12 represents the last conference to join in on the 2020 season and it might be a long-shot to make the playoff due to the shortened season and the perception of the conference, but it has two contenders in Oregon and USC that might could breakthrough and make a run.

Three dark-horse teams face stiff tests this weekend. Texas A&M is facing South Carolina, BYU goes to Boise State and Cincinnati faces Houston. It’s an uphill battle to make the playoff for these three teams, but the opportunity is there certainly.

Here are the five games that will impact the playoff race in Week 10.
