USC is thought to be one of the few Pac-12 teams that has a realistic shot at running the table and winning the conference, alongside Oregon. Most think that there is not enough time for a dark-horse to emerge in the Pac-12 to make a serious run at the playoff, but I think if there is one team that can do that, it’s Arizona State.

Arizona State has one of the best young quarterbacks in the country in Jayden Daniels and under head coach Herm Edwards, the Sun Devils have gained a reputation for playing physical and being well-coached.

The winner of this game is the clear front runner in the Pac-12 South and could be considered a playoff contender with a few lucky breaks.
