1. BYU wins by two touchdowns

This is reflective of my confidence in BYU. The Cougars are one of the best non-Power Five teams in the country and they might take the place of Notre Dame this season as the Independent that makes a push at the playoff. Sure, the schedule is much easier than Notre Dame’s usually is, but this is a weird year and anything can happen.

BYU will come out firing against Boise State on Friday night and the fact that the Broncos will be without Hank Bachmeier will hurt.

Boise State’s defense will have a tough time slowing the electric BYU offense, led by Zach Wilson, and that’s why I believe he will throw five touchdown passes while Tyler Allgeier will rush for over 100 yards. This offensive attack will be too much for Boise State to handle.

The lead will be taken early by the Cougars at 14-0, shocking Boise State in the first half, and while things will get closer, the Cougars will end the game with an insurance touchdown to win 45-31.
