1. The game won’t be decided by an offensive touchdown

These two teams neatly fit the old cliché of the unstoppable force the meets the immovable object. A great Florida offense against a great Georgia defense. A struggling Florida defense against a struggling Georgia offense. They’ll have to find some separation somewhere else. That’s where a defensive score or a special teams score comes into play.

This game will be decided by a momentum play that changes the course of the game. Does Stetson Bennett misread a defense and have to watch the ball going the other way? Does Florida out-kick its coverage and watch Georgia burn them the other way? Can someone block a kick and take it in the other direction?

That’s how close these two teams are. It is going to take an explosive play by someone other than the offenses to win this game.
