Arkansas football will attempt to get back on track after a loss to Texas A&M with a home battle against Tennessee in Week 10.

Sam Pittman deserves a major raise. No, he hasn’t coached a full season yet, but he has shown enough in five games to warrant serious extension consideration.

Arkansas had been a doormat in the SEC for years under Bret Bielema and Chad Morris, but the culture has already chanced and the Razorbacks have wins over Mississippi State and Ole Miss this season with a near-win at Auburn. They were also competitive for a half against Georgia, even hold a halftime lead, and wished to play Texas A&M tougher.

This team is better than that 2-3 record suggests and the Razorbacks will host a Tennessee team riding a three-game losing streak. Jeremy Pruitt’s squad is looking for major answers.

Will the Razorbacks pull back even at 3-3 with a win Saturday night?

3. Feleipe Franks has more touchdowns than incompletions

Feleipe Franks is in the midst of a career season with Arkansas. Not only is he as consistent as he’s ever been, but he’s posting a career-high completion percentage and he’s on pace to finish with a career-high in yards and approach the 24 touchdowns he threw in 2018. He also only has three interceptions through five games.

That accuracy has been impressive, though. He is completing 66 percent of his passes and against Tennessee’s mediocre defense, he’s going to have a field day.

While Franks might pass for 300-plus yards, my bold prediction is a little more specific. I believe he’ll throw more touchdown passes than he’ll have incompletions against this average secondary. He’s going to throw four touchdown passes and have only three incompletions on Saturday night.

Who would have thought Franks would be this fun to watch?
