3. BYU’s offense is electric
This was a really great balanced performance by the Cougars. I want to show love for the defense as they played really good football and helped set the tempo for this game.
But man, this BYU offense is really fun to watch and is going to control the headlines for this team. Zach Wilson has played great football all season long and tonight was no exception. The Heisman buzz has been building for Wilson, but now many draft analysts are really getting a grasp of what they believe Wilson can be in the NFL.

The criticism about playing a soft schedule is fair, but Zach Wilson’s ability to throw the football and the highlight throws he’s put on tape this season are undeniable. He has high level arm talent.

Wilson has been the key point of this BYU offense, but he is also being helped out by a fantastic offensive line. Brady Christensen has led this veteran offensive line unit to a fantastic season.
When you go back and watch all of Wilson’s great throws, also watch how clean the pocket usually is. The pass protection has been top notch and is just a big apart of BYU’s success as Wilson is.
The duo of Dax Milne and Gunner Romney was solid as usual, combining for nine catches and 232 yards. Each player had a reception of 35-plus yards and have been key producers for this Cougar offense all season long.
All in all, this BYU offense continues to light it up. They have scored 40-plus points in seven of their eight games. Yes, the competition they are facing is weaker than others. But, naysayers cannot deny the consistent production of this unit for too much longer.
