2. Kyren Williams rushes for 150 yards

Because I don’t think Ian Book is going to have a monster game through the air despite Jordan Johnson having his first “breakout” game at the collegiate level, I’m going to say the offense is going to need a lot of Kyren Williams.

The sophomore running back has been one of the nation’s biggest breakout stars this year and he’s been one of the main reasons the Irish are 6-0 and ranked No. 4 nationally.

If you were to look at the biggest question marks facing the Irish heading into the season, one of them would have to be the run game. Where would the production come from with very little experience returning to the roster? Would it be a veteran or a young gun? Well, it turns out it was a kid with four career carries heading into the year.

Williams has three 100-yard games on the year but hasn’t had one since Oct. 17 against Louisville as he had just 114 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries at Pitt and Georgia Tech. He’ll bounce back with over 150 yards against the Tigers on 20-plus carries.

On top of the 150 rushing yards, he’ll add a few more catches for over 30 yards.
