2. More effective run game

With the passing game taking a back seat this season, Notre Dame’s rushing offense has become elite. With guys like Kyren Williams, Chris Tyree and C’Bo Flemister, along with a dual-threat quarterback, the Irish have one of the best rushing offenses in the country. In fact, they average over 230 yards per game which is 70 yards per game more than Clemson.

The advantage in the run game will wear down that Clemson defense all night long as Notre Dame isn’t afraid to run the ball down opponents’ throats.

Williams is one of the nation’s breakout stars this season and he’s going to have a big game against Clemson on Saturday night, rushing for over 150 yards. The Tigers have a stingy run defense, but they’ll be tired from this three-headed monster in the backfield along with trying to contain a mobile Ian Book.

Along with Williams’ 150 yards, Tyree and Flemister will combine for 75 and Book will add another 30, wearing down this usually-solid defense.
