2. LD Brown deserves more carries

With or without Chuba Hubbard, it’s fairly clear that LD Brown deserves more carries.

Following last season, you could probably bet that Brown expected to be the lead guy, looking to break out and make up for the lost production from Hubbard’s departure. But Hubbard decided to return for his redshirt sophomore season instead of making that NFL jump and Brown knew that his outlook was a little murkier.

The senior filled in for an injured Hubbard against Kansas State and had one heck of a game. He rushed 15 times for 110 yards

In the fourth quarter, however, Brown looked like he pulled up gingerly after an explosive run as it was speculated that he tweaked his hamstring. It didn’t look serious but maybe a little tweak and something that shouldn’t hamper him for the remainder of the season.

When he is healthy, with Chuba also healthy or not, LD deserves more touches because he’s explosive and arguably the best RB2 in the nation.
