2. College Football Playoff?

Texas A&M’s schedule for the rest of the season is very favorable by most metrics. As it’s currently lining up, they don’t face a ranked team until Auburn during the season finale. Many of these games can go either way: Tennessee, LSU and Ole Miss.

Though it’s pretty much assumed that the Crimson Tide will come out of an always competitive SEC West, you never know what can happen. The Aggies would need the Tide to lose twice if they have any hope.

I think it’s highly unlikely the committee would put the Aggies in the fourth spot since , but this game could have very well been the beginning of their campaign to at least cement themselves in the conversation.
