Arkansas football was down 13-0 at the half, but came back to put together a big third quarter, beating Tennessee. Let’s get into some hot takes.

Sam Pittman has had quite the week, leading Arkansas to a come-from-behind win over Tennessee in Fayetteville and then being diagnosed with COVID-19.

While he should be just fine — fingers crossed — he’ll have to watch his team from the sidelines moving forward, starting this week against Florida.

But if Arkansas plays anything like it did in the third quarter against Tennessee, the Razorbacks are going to give the Gators some grief. There’s a chance that this team could ruin a playoff dream.

Let’s rewind first and get into some hot takes regarding the Razorbacks from a win over Tennessee.

3. Treylon Burks is elite

Want to hear an impressive stat? Treylon Burks is about as sure-handed as they come and he’s a big reason why Feleipe Franks is putting up some career numbers this season.

Just take a look at this incredible stat from Pro Football Focus:

That’s incredible given the fact that he’s played five games this season. He’s about as good as they get at the receiver position, putting up 461 yards and five touchdowns on the season with 31 receptions. If Franks needs to pick up a first down, he just needs to throw it Burks’ way.

In five games this year, he has hit at least 95 yards four times and has cross the 100-mark three times. It’s time to talk about him being one of the SEC’s elite receivers.
