Arkansas Football: 3 hot takes from comeback win over Tennessee
1. This team can hang with anyone
If you look at how Arkansas got to its 3-3 record this season, you could argue that this team should be 4-2 with a road win over Auburn. And unlike in years past, the Razorbacks have been competitive in each contest. No game has been a clear blowout loss this year from the get-go like they usually were under Chad Morris.
Sam Pittman has changed the culture, the offense has a pulse with Feleipe Franks under center and the defense is drastically better than it used to be.
The Razorbacks hung with Georgia and even held a lead over the Bulldogs for the first half of the first game of the year, struggled a bit against Texas A&M but they’ve been in each game this season and I’m confident that will continue, even against a team like Florida in Week 11.
It’s fairly clear that this team is no longer a layup and that’s music to Arkansas fans’ ears as they were sick of watching the Razorbacks get treated like a punching bag in the SEC for years.
