1. Boise State wins by four touchdowns

There are some major questions facing Boise State heading into Thursday night’s game against Colorado State, but the biggest has to be the health of the Broncos’ most important players.

Will George Holani return? What about Hank Bachmeier? If not Hank, what about his backup Jack Sears? If the answer to even one out of those three is yes, then Boise State should have no problem picking up a win on Thursday night. If two are a go, the Broncos will win big.

I’m no insider, but I do believe Boise State will get some surprisingly good news from at least one of those guys and Bachmeier would be my guess.

With Bachmeier potentially back and either Holani or Van Buren in the backfield, the Broncos will cruise to an easy win on that blue turf, making up for the serious outlier that was a 34-point thrashing at the hands of BYU last weekend.

Boise State wins this one big and makes a statement in that Group of Five race for a New Year’s Six bowl.
