In the midst of cancellations, Week 11 presents no ranked matchups, but plenty of opportunities for upsets against the nation’s top college football teams.

As college football fans, we knew that there would be cancelations during the strangest and craziest season ever. Week 11 has taken that to a new level with many of what was to be the weeks top games and had them either postponed or cancelled.

Alabama vs. LSU, Ohio State vs. Maryland, Georgia vs. Missouri and Texas A&M vs. Tennessee were game that were being looked forward to for the weekend and they will not be played this Saturday.

Week 11 will be about avoiding the upset. Notre Dame, fresh off of its biggest win in decades, now must travel to upstart Boston College, which almost pulled the upset on Clemson just two weeks ago. A lot has been made in comparing this game to the 1993 contest between the two teams, when Notre Dame was just coming off of a big win against Florida State and then had to go on the road to take on Boston College. That game resulted in a win for the Eagles and that loss denied Notre Dame a national championship.

The Pac-12 kicked off its season last week and its top two teams, Oregon and USC, survived and they are holding all of the hopes of the conference making it back to the College Football Playoff. Both teams go on the road this weekend hoping to avoid being upset and losing what slim playoff hopes that they have.

This is another pivotal week for some playoff long-shots. With BYU and Texas A&M not playing, it is a chance for some teams to make an impression and win with some style points. Cincinnati and Miami are two teams that need to keep winning to keep hopes alive and they must take advantage of the opportunity.

Here are the top games with playoff implications in Week 11.
