2. Kyren Williams is playing Heisman-caliber football

If there’s one aspect of the offense that has to make Notre Dame feel good heading into this matchup, it would have to be the run game.

Kyren Williams has been one of the best running backs in college football this season, rushing for 740 yards and 10 touchdowns on 5.8 yards per touch. He is one of the best running backs in the ACC and he’s about to face a defense that gives up over 140 yards per game on the ground. That has Williams licking his chops.

The Irish are going to utilize the run game extensively on Saturday afternoon and the Eagles aren’t going to have an answer.

Williams is playing like a serious Heisman candidate and if there’s anyone who can make the Eagles’ defense look silly, it’s him. Notre Dame needs Williams to play one of his best games of the year and I think he’s poised to do just that, pushing over 150 yards.
