1. Ian Book is playing his best football of the season

Those who have followed Ian Book over the past few years have seen him almost climb back into his shell this season after breaking out in 2018 and playing well in 2019. It’s been disappointing, to say the least, but he’s gaining some momentum.

After a slow start to the season, Book has passed for over 300 yards in two of the past three games and he has five touchdowns with no interceptions in that span.

Right now, Book is playing his best football of the season and he’s gaining steam at the perfect time with Clemson in the rearview mirror. Plus, any time a quarterback can pass for over 300 yards and beat the No. 1 team in the nation, that does wonders for confidence.

Notre Dame’s offense is clicking right now. Book and Kyren Williams are two major reasons why that is.

Both are going to continue this solid pace on Saturday afternoon against an average Boston College defense.
