Arkansas football is headed to Gainesville on Saturday evening, looking to pull off a mammoth upset. Will the Razorbacks pull this one off?

A 3-3 record through six games never looked so good for a single program, but for Arkansas, this is basically an unbeaten start. After the past handful of seasons the Razorbacks have had, winning three games in six tries is remarkable.

Plus, this team should be 4-2 with a road win over Auburn as well, but that’s an argument for a different day.

Arkansas has been in every game this season and that should continue on Saturday night as the Gators are coming off an emotional win over Georgia. That could lead to a hangover.

Here’s why Arkansas could pull off the upset of Florida on Saturday.

3. Rakeem Boyd will step up

What a disappointing season it’s been for Rakeem Boyd. The senior running back returned for one final season in Fayetteville to try and improve his draft stock and give his all to Sam Pittman and a new era. Things haven’t quite played out like that.

Through the first few games, Boyd had just 88 yards on 33 carries which was abysmal, to say the least. Over the past two games, the senior has 165 yards on 37 touches.

Things are trending in the right direction.

Boyd has started to look like his old self as he’s seeing running lanes, hitting them hard and picking up nice chunks. He’s averaging 4.5 yards per touch after just a 2.7 yards per carry average through the first three games.

We are going to see him step up again for the third week in a row versus Arkansas.
