1. Feleipe Franks is playing the best football of his career

I’ve used the ‘revenge’ for this matchup loosely because I don’t think that’s how Feleipe Franks views this matchup against his former team.

Normally when a player is passed up on the depth chart and is forced into a transfer, there’s some animosity and even a grudge held. Franks doesn’t have that because he knows the reason he lost his job was because of his injury and Kyle Trask was playing incredible football and has stood out as a Heisman candidate. He knew he wasn’t going to get his job back. It was bad luck.

That led Franks to a new home and it happened to be the best thing for his career because he got a much-needed fresh start. He has fit in perfectly with the Razorbacks and he’s playing the best football of his career.

The senior has passed for 1,428 yards and 14 touchdowns on career-best 67 percent completion rate (minimum 100 attempts).

If the Razorbacks are going to pull off the upset, it’s because of Franks’ calm, cool and collected demeanor. Oh, and the fact that he’s having the best season of his life. What better way to cap a career than beating your friends and ruining their playoff hopes?
